Join Us: A conversation about Explorations in Relational Grit
We can't wait to see you there!
Two weeks ago we published our magnum opus: Explorations in Relational Grit. And yeah, like anyone who published a magnum opus, we want to talk about it. BUT we want to talk about it with you (we promise).
We all know how easy it is to talk about a thing, but because this writing was shaped by real, messy, gritty practice, and in relationship with people all across the country, this conversation will invite us into practice too.
The anchoring questions of our public conversation is: what did we learn, and how might we all live into these learnings more robustly, together?
Together we’ll dig into:
What led to our social feedback loops getting so off kilter;
What sucks about community, why we like to silver-lining it all the time, and how we maybe (maybe) might just a bit more honest about when it sucks;
What relational grit is and how to strengthen it;
And, critically, how we (yes you!!! And me!!!!) might really, actively, change how we think about and face conflict, tension, and heat;
Then we’ll practice/reflect/play a bit :)
We promise to talk at you for a bit so you can have a moment to breathe, but this work is relational after all; so we’ll also be asking for your help: we’ll ask you to provide some insight into how these core learnings operate in your own life, what we might be missing, and how you are working to live into relational grit in your own life and world.
Join us. We can’t wait to see you there:
